Kitchen Hand (Weekend Position)

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand to join our team in a fast-paced, high-volume café.

Hours:

• Saturdays & Sundays
• 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role

This is a busy, hands-on position suited to someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys working as part of a team. You'll play a key role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly during our busiest trading periods.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation as required
• Restocking supplies and keeping workstations tidy
• Taking out rubbish and recycling
• Following all food safety and hygiene standards
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a kitchen hand in a busy café is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work every weekend.
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of being on your feet for the duration of the shift.
