This leader ensures the program, team, and processes are organized, efficient, and consistently geared toward client success, aligning with SIGMA’s “4 R’s of Recovery – Redeploy, Recondition, Resell, and Recycle.” The role oversees division performance, project execution, and client relationship growth while serving as the primary executive escalation point for key Recovery clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Operations
- Own the overall strategy, structure, operating model (software, storage, services), and performance of SIGMA Recovery.
- Define and track KPIs for program adoption, throughput, lifecycle times, and financial returns.
- Drive operational excellence by standardizing the 4 R’s processes and partnering with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Finance, IT) for seamless project execution
- Ensure accurate financial and data reconciliation, implement SOPs, and resolve lifecycle bottlenecks.
Client Management & Growth
- Serve as the executive owner and primary escalation point for key accounts, leading regular business reviews to report on performance and ROI.
- Proactively identify and develop expansion opportunities within existing clients (new sites/services) and collaborate with sales and marketing to refine the value proposition.
- Oversee all client communication standards and ensure alignment with client success expectations.
Team & Project Oversight
- Build, lead, and develop the high-performing Recovery team (including operations, program managers, and client-facing staff).
- Oversee the planning, execution, prioritization, and resource allocation for all Recovery projects
- Establish reporting and dashboards for status visibility.
Daily Duties:
- Manage the lifecycle of recovery equipment, working with clients to determine the best method for dispositioning idle assets (e.g., Consignment Auction, Outright Purchase, Scrap).
- Execute financial processes, including tracking and creating payouts (via PandaDocs), invoicing/removing storage fees, and managing freight invoices with logistics.
- Send monthly client reports (inventory, sold, redeployed, recycled).
- Conduct prospecting calls to potential clients and provide training on the web-based system through onsite classes or webinars.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- 7–10+ years in operations, asset management, supply chain, or related program leadership, ideally in industrial equipment or manufacturing.
- Strategic & Systems Thinking, Operational Discipline, Client-Centric Mindset, Growth Orientation, Problem Solving & Escalation Management, and Change Leadership.
- Proven track record owning a program with P&L/KPI responsibility, improving efficiency, implementing processes, and strong client-facing/escalation management experience.
- Must be familiar with cloud-based software, data-driven decision-making, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in Lean or process optimization is preferred.
