Bear Park Herne Bay, based on Shelly Beach Road, is in a character filled, homely bungalow, with a modern, purpose-built extension. The extension was designed to allow natural light to spill into the interior, creating learning spaces that are connected, inviting and well-equipped.


At Bear Park we provide 3 hours of collaborative programme planning time every week, to allow each of our room teaching teams to reflect, plan and support each other as a group.
We currently have a position available in Planning Cover team for an unqualified teacher or teacher in training working 14 hours per week, 9am - 4.30pm on Tuesday and Thursday. These positions are a fabulous opportunity to work with all age groups across the centre.


Working alongside a passionate teaching team, and a pedagogical mentor, you will have ample opportunity to extend your professional knowledge and practice. We are a supportive, helpful and caring team that work hard to help each other within a fun and rewarding environment.
