Academic Coordinator – Kids&Us Sant Adrià de Besòs

Be the heart of our K&U family

We’re a close-knit Kids&Us school in Sant Adrià de Besòs, with around 300 students and a team of 12 teachers. We’re looking for an Academic Coordinator who wants to build something stable with us: someone who knows the Kids&Us world, works autonomously and enjoys keeping a lively school running smoothly while children and families feel looked after.

Your role
You’ll be the director’s right hand and the go-to person for our teachers and families.

• Academic quality: make sure the Kids&Us method is implemented excellently in every class, and that teachers always have the materials and resources they need.

• Our teachers: help select and train new teachers, organise and follow up on their work, and solve their pedagogical questions. You know how to lead with warmth, clear criteria and good feedback.

• Families: keep close, clear communication, hold regular progress meetings and be the friendly face parents can turn to.

• Events and services: plan and coordinate Fun Weeks, Storytime and school events that bring families together. We love new ideas!

• Social media: look after the school’s networks to attract new students and keep our community engaged.

• Admin and logistics: student records, regular reports, materials, stock and inventory.

• School growth: support the director in busy moments, such as enrolment, demo days and activities outside the school.

Who we’re looking for

• Previous experience in a Kids&Us school (as a teacher or coordinator). This is highly valued.

• Someone reliable, autonomous and willing to stay with us over time.

• Great people skills, especially with teachers: you motivate, listen and keep the team together.

• A natural multitasker, well organised and calm when many things happen at once.

• Comfortable creating and publishing content on social media (Instagram, Facebook…).

• Proactive and creative, someone who enjoys proposing and organising events.

• English, Spanish and Catalan at C1 level or higher.

• Teaching experience.

• Mandatory: Certificate of Sexual Offences with no previous record (required by law for working with children in Spain).

Conditions

• Permanent contract

• [25 / 30] hours per week.

• Start date: immediately

• Salary according to the applicable collective agreement.

• Continuous training with Kids&Us and real room to take initiative.
