Java Technical Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Technical Expert to join our team in a strategic role that goes beyond development. This position offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-level applications while contributing to architecture and infrastructure decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on coding experience in Java along with exposure to application servers and API management. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable systems while collaborating with cross-functional and infrastructure teams.

You will be responsible for analyzing complex business requirements, building robust backend solutions, and ensuring high performance and reliability of applications. This role is well-suited for developers who are looking to transition into architectural responsibilities and broaden their technical impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications

• Deploy and manage applications using WebSphere / JBoss

• Develop and manage APIs, ensuring seamless system integration

• Contribute to system architecture and infrastructure planning

• Analyze and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues

• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams

• Ensure best practices in coding, security, and system design

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Java development

• Strong expertise in Enterprise Java applications

• Hands-on experience with WebSphere or JBoss

• Experience in API management and integration

• Good understanding of system architecture principles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment

• Interest or exposure to infrastructure and architecture is a plus

• Immediate to 30 days joiners preferred

• Must be currently based in Malaysia
