Hygiene Service Technician

Calling all go-getters: Rentokil Initial wants you as a Hygiene Technician!

You will be out in the field delivering hygiene and cleaning services, helping customers solve problems and keeping their sites running smoothly. A great fit for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and great customer interactions.

This role is Monday to Friday, based primarily in New Plymouth, with some travel within South Taranaki. We provide a work vehicle to support your daily travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload the service vehicle effectively to complete daily assignments.
• Perform cleaning services in washrooms and public toilets according to job specifications and client policies.
• Provide and maintain hygiene products including toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispensers, sanitisers, sanitary bins and air fresheners.
• Address hygiene risks and client concerns to enhance work environments.
• Complete service reports to document services performed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanour at all times.
• Stay aware of client needs and identify opportunities to improve service standards.

• Full-time, permanent work rights in NZ
• Full, clean driver’s licence and a clean criminal record
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Physically fit with a strong focus on health and safety
• Self-motivated with great time management
• High attention to detail and pride in high standards
• Confident using mobile apps and technology
• Flexible to travel and stay away overnight if needed
• Cleaning or hygiene experience is a bonus
