Accountant (German Speaker)

Responsibilities:

*   Review, code, and record all business transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, and bank accounts).
*   Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB).
*   Perform account reconciliations, including inter-company accounts.
*   Coordinate, clarify, and maintain general ledger (G/L) accounting.
*   Prepare payment runs.
*   Support the preparation of annual financial statements.
*   Serve as a contact person for accounting matters and represent your area of responsibility.

Requirements

*   Completed commercial training as an accountant, tax clerk, certified accountant (m/f/d), or a similar commercial qualification.
*   Excellent communication skills in both German (C1) and English (B2).
*   3+ years of experience in accounting; experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.
*   Solid knowledge of relevant commercial and tax regulations (including accounting law, the German Commercial Code – HGB, and VAT law – UStG).
*   Experience with MS Office, especially Excel.
*   Knowledge of DATEV is an advantage.
*   You work independently, responsibly, and with great attention to detail.
*   You are a team player with strong communication skills.
